Lapse Filing Alert (Online)

Lapse Filing Alert (Online)

The Lapse Filing Alert (LFA) is a monthly report to notify lenders about their UCC filings which are due to lapse soon. It is an efficient and inexpensive way to ensure that your UCC filing lapse dates don’t pass you by. This service is available on our web site. You will be assigned a login name and password to access this service.

You have the option of choosing a report that provides a three-month notice or a six-month notice.

Each LFA report contains the following information:
  • UCC file number (also all associated UCC history)
  • Date and time filed
  • Type of filing
  • Debtor name and address
  • Secured party name and address
If you choose not to terminate or continue a filing, it will not appear on subsequent reports.

From our website, you are able to:
  • View and print the report.
  • Save the report to your computer.
  • Search for key words or numbers within the report.
  • View the previous month’s report, in addition to the report for the current month.
  • Allow multiple users to access the report at the same time.
  • Receive an email notification each month to alert you when your new report is available online. You can enter up to 30 email addresses for us to notify.
Many rely exclusively on this service to inform them every month of filings that will lapse in three or six months (client option). Others have found the LFA to be an affordable way to double-check their internal system for tracking their filings.
